About the Author
Tracy lives a double life! She’s a chemist by day, but when the goggles come off she runs away to a world of dragons and adventure.
Tracy went to graduate school to become a science teacher, but fell in love with chemistry research instead. She has been a full-time chemist in Berkeley since 2007, and has no plans to move away from her job.
In her spare time, Tracy enjoys writing books to help inspire kids to keep learning. The Nancy Nano series is a lighthearted way to teach real-world science to non-scientists, while the Dragon Ponies series focuses on magic and humor to foster a love of reading.
